JOIN THE RUSSIAN SOCIETY OF ROENTGENOLOGISTS AND RADIOLOGISTS (RSRR)

The Russian Society of Roentgenologists and Radiologists (RSRR) was founded in 1916 under the guidance of prof. M.I. Nemenov.

The Russian Society of Roentgenologists and Radiologists (RSRR) was founded in 1916 under the guidance of prof. M.I. Nemenov.

From 1991 to 2016 it was called the Russian Association of Radiologists (RAR), and in May 2016 it was given its original name back.

Since 1991, RSRR has been representing Russia in the European Society of Radiology (ESR, myesr.org).

Prof. V.E. Sinitsyn has been the President of the RSRR since 2016.

The updated charter of the RSRR was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on October 12, 2016.

Brief description: the “Russian Society of Roentgenologists and Radiologists” (RSRR), an all-Russian public organization promoting the development of X-ray diagnostics and therapy, is a membership-based independent public association of professionals, practitioners, researchers, and teachers involved in the field of X-ray diagnostics, X-ray therapy, and related disciplines, as well as of other public entities united by common interests. 

Being a RSRR member grants you opportunities:

  • To participate in different educational programs and schools under the RSRR’s organization or with its support including the ones that work within the Continual Medical Education system and also getting educational loans.
  • To have special conditions for annual RSRR congresses participation.
  • To get mailing with news in Russian and world ray diagnostics practice, information about the latest educational materials, publications and clinical cases.
  • To get subscriptions and be published in the main RSRR’s printed magazine – ‘Roentgenology and radiology herald’ which is quoted in Russian Science Quotation Index, PubMed, Medline, Scopus and many more databases.
  • To take part in RSRR’s work as a different committee and group member to improve the association’s work.
  • To develop Russian ray diagnostics and therapy science in collaboration with RSRR along with the protection of specialists’ professional interests.
  • To be a part of the European Society of Radiologists, participate in the ESR’s educational events with special conditions.
  • To find coworkers and partners from different regions of Russia and other countries for joint work.
