The IAEA is working on a project related to radiation protection of patients who need frequent imaging, https://www.iaea.org/resources/rpop/resources/recurrent-imaging
Following the studies on cumulative doses from recurrent CT imaging, we are planning to launch a survey focused on specific groups of patients who need frequent PET/CT, SPECT/CT and other imaging studies.
In the preparation of the study, we designed a short questionnaire to be answered by nuclear medicine departments; one answer per department is expected.
We will appreciate if you can circulate the link to the nuclear medicine departments in your country. The feedback will be used to plan the IAEA survey on recurrent imaging for patients with cardiac disease and Hodgins’s lymphoma.
